TANJA LATEGAN

Art brings Tanja Lategan into a peaceful and happy space. It calms and grounds her, but most of all – it excites her! Tanja turned to art fulltime after leaving the tourism industry, switching from working in oils and acrylics to watercolours, ink and pen. Tanja feels connected to the healing vibrations that nature provides on her regular excursions into the forest and draws inspiration from the organic shapes and vibrant colours. Her work depicts the symbiotic relationship between man and nature in a contemporary style. Her playful nature is depicted in the feminine and whimsical details of her creations. She is proud to be the Chair of The Friends Of The George Museum and The Garden Route Eisteddfod’s Head of Visual Arts. Tanja is developing as an artist with every new work and is full of positive and passionate energy for art.
